Nigerians reacts as the Federal Government declared Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th of May, 2020 as Public Holidays to mark this year’s Eid al-Fitr Celebration. The Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, who made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, congratulated all Muslim faithful for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.

Nigerians took the announcement as a joke as they believe the country has been on holidays since the COVID-19 outbreak. And some are scared that this might hinder the fight against the deadly virus
