Nigerian Army Launches ‘Crocodile Smile’ As #EndSARS Protests Spread To More Cities

The Nigerian Army says it is set to begin its yearly exercise "Crocodile Smile" to recognize, track and counter negative purposeful publicity in the online media and over the internet. 

In an announcement, Musa Sagir, armed force representative, said the activity will start the country over from Tuesday. 

"The current year's Exercise CROCODILE SMILE V1 is booked to initiate from the twentieth of October to the 31st of December 2020," Sagir said in an announcement. 

"The Exercise is purposely proposed to be comprehensive to incorporate digital fighting activities intended to recognize, track and counter negative promulgation in the web-based media and over the internet. 

"This is the first since forever Cyberwarfare exercise to be directed throughout the entire existence of the African Armed Forces. In like manner, the activity will likewise incorporate positive distinguishing proof segment pointed toward recognizing Boko Haram fear mongers escaping from the North East and different pieces of the nation because of the progressing tasks in the different auditoriums of tasks particularly in the Northeast, North Central and North Western pieces of Nigeria. 

"The Nigerian Army, indeed, consoles all benevolent Nigerians of its duty to the food of harmony and security in Nigeria and urges individuals from people in general for their help and comprehension all through the time of the activity."
